The Adventures of the Bulbul Seven
5:30PM: Saba, Wangari, Joanna and myself are standing outside the MC House when I have to run up and help Joanna with the "Sheesha"
5:39PM: We are having a discussion as to why I do not want to take my car that far, A loosing battle at that time ofcorse.
5:45PM: We are on our way to Karachi Port Trust to meet up with Capt. Sikander who will be fascilitating our little adventure into the Deep Blue Sea!
Anyway, I think somewhere along the way, the guys in the other car decided to call Joanna "White" and then there was a competition at the docks because there were more "Whites" and the competition for who has a better "White" was on!
After the initial waiting period was over for the security checks we moved onto the boat called "BULBUL" comandered by Capt. Sikander and his merry men...These were the men who would take us out into the open abyss and feed us crabs and fishy things.
The initial conversations were quite mundane and boring as we were just dicussing random things that made no sense BUT then all of a sudden Sharmeen and Mikaal decided to leave us for the upper deck of Bulbul and that's when the fun started! It had almost gotten dark by now and in the middle of nowhere privacy was not an issue.
A few sounds escaped the upper deck which led to the conclusion that they were on a date and should not be disturbed.
The two love birds came down after a good hour I think and that is when the conversation took totally new turn! Reading between the lines became absolutely essential to understand what was being said! The indirectness of the situation was hilarious!!
This countiued till late and finally we headed back after 2 Sheesha sessiosn in which Sharmeen and Rabia hogged it heh..big surprise there :P
It was an excellent trip!! Even though my willigness and oppurtunity cost was low before it, I was High on fun upon our return!!

YAY!!! Great trip!! Has to be repeated soon :D And the chapters developed further ;)
